How it all started…

I have grown up in eastern Lincoln County, NC and currently live in Vale, NC, which is in western Lincoln County. I am married to my best friend Michael. We have 1 teenage man child, a spoiled English bulldog and a holland lop bunny who literally is the king of his castle. So how did my little business begin? With our son preparing for college I have an “empty nest” fear that I am not afraid to admit. I thought I need to find a hobby. My hobby has been raising my child his entire life, no joke. I literally woke up one day and thought, I can do photography! I’ve always loved art, painting, decorating, and being creative. This is definitely my outlet. Who knows, it may be a mid life crisis starting a new career in my 40s, but that is literally how Vintage Vale Photography began. I’d like to think God/ Jesus put this desire in my heart and I’m just along for the ride. I hope you’ll join me…
